The book is called the Death of a Salaryman, and is about the a man named Kenji who loses his job, very taboo in Japan (did I not mention it's set in Japan? oh, well it is), and it's basically about his struggle to find a new job/purpose.

They're probably going to be postcards like this, to be handed out at readings...
